Summary: This research addresses the implications of platformization in brazilian digital journalism. It sought to understand how the mechanisms of Google, the most widely used search platform in Brazil, influence news production in the country's main
digitally native news outlets: CNN Brasil, G1, Metrópoles and UOL. The study adopted a qualitative approach based on publications from these outlets related to the most searched terms on Google during a week. The corpus of 360 articles was
organized into thematic groups for the analysis of news values. The results indicate a strong correlation between search demands and journalistic production, marked by the predominance of audience-oriented articles, fragmentation, and indexing strategies. Although examples of journalism with emancipatory potential and public interest were identified, the prevalence of practices aligned with the logic of circulation was observed.
